Relationship & Psychosexual Therapy
Psychotherapy can be a powerful, life-changing experience which can help you to improve your mental health, overcome social or emotional challenges, and fulfil your potential. Relink Therapy can support you to:
- express your feelings and process them in a safe and supportive relationship
- gain deeper insight into the issues you face
- talk about things in a confidential environment that you might not feel be able to discuss with anyone else
- find better ways to cope with feelings and fears
- change the way you think and behave to improve your mental and emotional wellbeing

- make sense of any clinical diagnoses you have had by understanding what has happened to you

- learn to communicate better and tolerate differences in yourself and others.
An initial assessment is required to generate a report on your situation which suggests recommendations on what is the best way to deal with what is causing the issues.
Initial Assessment (Telephone)
An Initial Assessment helps to devise a plan to start your therapy journey. Initial assessments are usually via telephone although face to face assessments are available, they are subject to availability & the usual session fee. Telephone appointments are usually weekday evenings between 1930-2200 approx.

Individuals
- The assessment can last between 20 to 60 minutes.
- You will be asked a variety of questions to gain a better understanding of your situation.
- You will have the chance to ask any questions you may have.
Couples
- An Assessment for couples is around 1 hour
- At the start of the assessment you will be asked a few questions together.
- You will then be asked a variety of questions separately to gain a better understanding of your situation.
- After both of you have spoken individually, you then have the opportunity to speak together and to ask any questions you may have.
Note – Providing both of you attend the initial assessment, there is no additional cost. If this is not possible then two separate bookings are required
Therapy for Individuals
Following on from telephone assessment appointment, you receive a report which gives a brief plan detailing the best route to go. Should you choose to start face to face sessions with Relink Therapy, they are in a cosy clinic on Barrack Road, BH23 2AR. Each session is a 50 minute appointment. Longer sessions available if required

Following on from telephone assessment appointment, you receive a report which gives a brief plan detailing the best route to go. Should you choose to start face to face sessions with Relink Therapy, they are in a cosy clinic on Barrack Road, BH23 2AR. Each session is a 50 minute appointment. Longer sessions available if required

Other Services
Relink Therapy is expanding for 2025!! What does this mean? Well this means that Dr Wayne Adlem will be offering more services!
The services included in the expansion are ADHD screening & assessments as well as offering PRP Therapy to compliment the Psychosexual Therapy.
Dr Wayne Adlem hasn’t always been a Psychologist. He has has a background in working within the NHS and, when he was younger, within the Childcare industry.
In 2015 Wayne closed the childcare business he ran as an Ofsted Registered Childminder to pursue a career in Wedding Photography under ‘Treasure the Moments(TTM)’ alongside working in the local hospitals adhoc. This worked really well until photography which eventually was impacted by the 2020 pandemic. Childcare was a problem for people in key worker roles so Wayne took it upon himself to assist and opened another branch of TTM for childcare services to assist in the times when photography was not required by society.
(people don’t need photographers in global pandemics apparently….)
The time has come to close that branch and make TTM solely about photography again.
As Relink Therapy is diversifying, Wayne is merging some of those services here and offers the following additional services:

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy Treatment
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a natural cosmetic treatment which injects your own extracted platelets and growth factors back into your body, which have been gathered from a sample of your own blood taken from your arm. This produces a healing response in the body to repair and rejuvenate an area. It has been used safely in many therapeutic areas such as sports medicine, dentistry, orthopaedics, hair loss and cosmetic medicine.
PRP therapy for sexual rejuvenation, in both men and woman, is a newer application of the PRP technique and is used to treat erectile dysfunction, to heighten sexual satisfaction, reduce vaginal dryness, painful sexual intercourse, and to regain or improve female orgasm. The treatment is sometimes marketed as P-shot® (or Priapus Shot®) for men, O-shot® (or Orgasm Shot®) and Rejuvula for women, or by the generic term of PRP treatment for sexual rejuvenation. Depending on the symptoms being treated and the PRP method used multiple treatments may be required.

Seeking help can feel daunting, but you don’t have to go through this alone. With the NHS being strained, more and more Services are accepting diagnoses from private experienced assessors. Wayne listens with empathy, understand your symptoms, and work collaboratively to develop strategies that empower you. Obtaining a diagnosis is one of the steps to manage your ADHD and unlock your full potential.
